Fenerbahce haven’t lost an away cup game since 2011.

Mersin Idmanyurdu manager Rıza Çalımbay has signalled that he will field a weakened side against Fenerbahce.

The Red Devil’s manager will instead concentrate on this weekends clash with Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

“Winning the cup has never been our aim. The cup gives us a chance to rotate the squad,” Çalımbay told LigTV

“We want to come away from tomorrows game with a good result and put on a good show in front of our fans.”

Mersin will be without Çalımbay, Servet Çetin, Serkan Balcı, Futacs, Adem Güven and Sadiku due to injuries.

Rıza Çalımbay sides three game winning run came to an end last weekend
with a 2-1 defeat to Bursaspor. Mersin have scored 13 goals in their
last four league games.
